bit_girl gnashes at the root of wetware through a cyberfeminist expanded cinema performance, exploring glitched gender and digital miasma with trickster urgency. Unfolding envelopes of granular synthesis, analog electronic scores, and vocal feedback shake the air. Through signal path alchemy, multichannel video projections open up a bag of stars wherein pixels become bees become souls. Inside the computerized theater space, the movement technique of LUDUS, in the lineage of butoh, transfuse physical, digital, and mythic tellings of maternal madness. They are building a computer around the world, and they must fail.
