Dandy Be Good is a site specific interactive performance that evokes humanity at its most natural. People in space sharing stories and lending support. In this chaotic time we live in, Dandy offers an escape from the streets and invites you to hear, breathe and feel with the alternative. Have a bite, a drink and an experience that is about cleansing the spirit as you move throughout a space that is about community and relatability.

G.J. Dowding is a Brooklyn based theater director, performer and writer. He is the artistic director of Asylos, an experimental performance collective. Original works written and choreographed by G.J. include Quizzically Quimsical (Gene Frankel Theatre) and (Miss)ter Silhouette Man (HOT! Festival, Dixon Place). Original devised pieces with Asylos include Crystal Jukebox Hymn (Glasshouse ArtLifeLab and The Brick), Out of The Ash (Dixon Place and Glasshouse ArtLifeLab) and Woolgatherers (FiveMyles and The Kraine Theater). G.J. directed and produced a dreamy re-imagining of Tennessee Williams’ Something Cloudy, Something Clear (Invisible Dog Art Center and Wild Project).
