What is leisure? Is it right for me? If you’ve had these concerns - or especially if you haven’t - then consider attending Leisure: A Master Class, by Ike. Comic entertainer Ikechukwu Ufomadu will facilitate an evening-length presentation on the subject. Featuring the latest research, live demonstrations, group exercises and PowerPoint™ presentations, the audience can expect to walk away with fresh insight into best practices. This evening is suitable for beginning and advanced practitioners alike.

Ikechukwu Ufomadu is an actor and comic entertainer.

 

He’s created several original, live shows including: Ike at Night (Under the Radar/The Public Theater, The Bushwick Starr, JACK); Nightcap | by Ike (Joe's Pub at The Public Theater); Ike Night (Ars Nova, San Francisco Sketchfest); Ike for the Holidays (Joe's Pub at The Public Theater); and more. He performs stand-up at venues across New York, including Union Hall and UCB.

 

Ikechukwu has collaborated with several OBIE-winning theatre companies including: Young Jean Lee's Theater Company, 600 Highwaymen and Hoi Polloi.

 

He trained at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts; the International Theatre Workshop in The Netherlands; and Studio Five's theatre and dance programs in Indonesia. Ikechukwu is an Artist-in-Residence at Joe's Pub at The Public as a member of the 2017 Class of Joe's Pub Working Group.
