Nancy Drew’s vagina sprouts wings and flies away in the middle of the night. She comes out of retirement, reassembles her team, and engages her vagina in an epic chase. But where will her pursuit take her? A noir mystery, Nancy Drew and the Case of the Missing Vagina explores the formation of gender identity through a language of camp, mockery, absurdity, and stupidity. It forces Nancy to confront whether or not she can be a real woman with no vagina—using the language of the Ridiculous to transvestigate the ridiculousness of trans exclusionary radical feminists. Who gets to be a real woman? In Nancy Drew and the Case of the Missing Vagina, we find out.
